Phase Inversion Morphology
Phase Inversion Morphology is a membrane microstructure formation process in which a homogeneous polymer solution undergoes a thermodynamically driven phase separation into polymer-rich and polymer-lean phases, subsequently solidified into a porous architecture through solvent-nonsolvent exchange, distinguished from other membrane fabrication mechanisms by its reliance on controlled liquid-liquid demixing kinetics during immersion precipitation.
