Petri Net Simulation

Petri Net Simulation is a formal dynamic system simulation method that uses Petri net models—comprising places, transitions, and tokens—to represent and analyze the discrete event behavior of concurrent, asynchronous, distributed, parallel, or nondeterministic systems, distinguished by its explicit modeling of state changes and synchronization through token flow rules.
