Peritectic Equilibria
Peritectic Equilibria is a type of phase equilibrium in alloy thermodynamics characterized by a reversible reaction in which a solid phase and a liquid phase coexist in equilibrium with a different solid phase upon cooling or heating, distinguished from other phase equilibria by the invariant transformation involving the coexistence of three phases at a fixed temperature and composition.
