Perforation Cluster Efficiency
Perforation Cluster Efficiency is a quantitative metric in the domain of reservoir stimulation that measures the proportion of individual perforation clusters within a wellbore completion design that successfully initiate and sustain hydraulic fractures, thereby differentiating the effectiveness of staged fracturing operations in heterogeneous shale reservoirs where near-wellbore effects influence fracture initiation and propagation.
