Peptide Loading Complex
The Peptide Loading Complex is a multiprotein complex in the endoplasmic reticulum that functions as a molecular machinery responsible for facilitating the loading of antigenic peptides onto major histocompatibility complex class I molecules, thereby distinguishing it from other components of the antigen processing and presentation pathway by its specific role in peptide optimization and MHC I stabilization.
