Partial Subordination

Partial Subordination is a type of subordination agreement in which a creditor subordinates only a portion of their claim or interest in a debtor’s assets to another creditor, rather than deferring the entirety of their claim, thereby allowing the senior creditor priority over specific assets or up to a defined limit while preserving the subordinating creditor’s rights in the remaining balance.
