Papyrological Text Editing

Papyrological Text Editing is the scholarly practice of reconstructing, transcribing, and establishing the most probable form of ancient Greek texts preserved on papyrus, distinguishing itself from other editorial practices by its reliance on fragmentary, often damaged materials and its integration of palaeographic, linguistic, and contextual analysis specific to the papyrological record.
