Orthogonal Deprotection

Orthogonal Deprotection is a chemical strategy in synthetic organic chemistry whereby each protecting group in a multifunctional molecule can be selectively removed in any order through a distinct and non-interfering set of reaction conditions, enabling precise and independent control over deprotection events in complex molecular syntheses.
