Optically Pumped Magnetometry

Optically Pumped Magnetometry is a highly sensitive measurement technique that belongs to the class of quantum magnetometry methods, wherein the magnetic field is determined by optically pumping and probing the spin state of alkali metal vapor atoms to detect Larmor precession frequency shifts induced by external magnetic fields.
