Non-recognition Grounds

Non-Recognition Grounds is a legal doctrine within the enforcement of judgments framework that specifies the limited circumstances under which a foreign judgment, particularly in family matters, may be refused recognition on public policy, procedural fairness, or jurisdictional validity grounds, thus distinguishing it from general non-enforcement or non-compliance rationales.
