Non-manifold Modeling

Non-Manifold Modeling is a geometric modeling approach in solid modeling that allows the representation of topological configurations where local neighborhoods of points on the boundary are not homeomorphic to a two-dimensional disk, thereby enabling the description of entities such as surfaces with dangling edges, shared edges among multiple faces, or mixed-dimensional constructs that violate manifold continuity.
