Nitric Oxide Bioavailability

Nitric Oxide Bioavailability is a physiological construct that denotes the net concentration of biologically active nitric oxide available in the vascular endothelium at any given time, determined by the dynamic balance between its synthesis from endothelial nitric oxide synthase and its inactivation by reactive oxygen species, thereby governing vasodilation, anti-inflammatory responses, and microcirculatory perfusion.
