Neutron Diffusion Approximation

The Neutron Diffusion Approximation is a mathematical model within neutron transport theory that approximates the angular dependence of the neutron flux by assuming a linear anisotropic scattering and representing the current as proportional to the gradient of the scalar flux, thereby simplifying the Boltzmann transport equation into a diffusion equation.
