Neoadjuvant Immunotherapy is a form of systemic anticancer immunotherapy administered before definitive local treatment, typically curative-intent surgery, to induce or augment tumor-specific immune responses that downstage the primary tumor, eradicate micrometastatic disease, and thereby improve long-term oncologic outcomes.
