Nadir Pointing
Nadir Pointing is a spacecraft attitude control strategy in which the orientation is maintained such that one designated axis consistently points toward the nadir direction, defined as the local vertical toward the center of mass of a celestial body, thereby enabling Earth-facing instruments to remain aligned with the planet's surface.
