Mos Pathway

The "Mos Pathway" is a signaling cascade in oocyte maturation that belongs to the family of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathways and is distinguished by its initiation through the Mos proto-oncogene product, a serine/threonine kinase that activates MEK and subsequently ERK to regulate meiotic progression and cytostatic factor (CSF) activity.
