Morrison Framework

The "Morrison Framework" is a legal analytical framework within U.S. constitutional law that refines the application of the Commerce Clause by limiting Congress’s power under the Commerce Clause to regulate noneconomic activity that substantially affects interstate commerce, particularly emphasizing federalism principles and the distinction between national and local authority as articulated in United States v. Morrison.
