Morphodynamic Feedbacks

Morphodynamic Feedbacks is a theoretical construct in coastal and estuarine geomorphology that describes the reciprocal interactions between hydrodynamic processes and sediment transport dynamics, whereby changes in bed morphology alter flow and wave patterns, which in turn modify sediment erosion and deposition, leading to iterative, nonlinear system evolution.
