Moran Scatterplot

A Moran Scatterplot is a graphical diagnostic tool in spatial data analysis that plots each observation’s value against the weighted average of its neighbors’ values to visually assess the presence and strength of spatial autocorrelation, thereby distinguishing itself from other scatterplots through its reliance on spatial weights matrices to define neighbor relationships.
