Monetary General Equilibrium
Monetary General Equilibrium is a formal economic model within general equilibrium theory that extends the classical Arrow–Debreu framework by explicitly incorporating money as a medium of exchange or store of value, thereby distinguishing it from barter-based general equilibrium models through the endogenous determination of monetary prices and the inclusion of monetary assets in agents' utility or budget constraints.
