Migratory Insertion Interplay

Migratory Insertion Interplay is a mechanistic framework in organometallic chemistry that describes the reciprocal influence between migratory insertion and beta-hydride elimination processes, where the kinetics and regiochemical outcome of ligand migration are modulated by the competing or consecutive availability of beta-hydrogens on the metal-coordinated alkyl chain.
