Microbolometers

Microbolometer is a type of thermal sensor that detects infrared radiation by measuring temperature-induced changes in electrical resistance of a material, distinguishing itself from other thermal sensors through its use of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) technology to enable uncooled, pixel-based infrared imaging.
