Micelles

Micelles is a type of self-assembled nanoscale colloidal aggregate formed by the spontaneous organization of amphiphilic molecules in an aqueous environment, distinguished by its core-shell structure with hydrophobic tails sequestered in the inner core and hydrophilic heads exposed to the outer aqueous phase, enabling solubilization and delivery of poorly water-soluble drugs within lipid-based drug delivery systems.
