Membrane Snare Complexes

Membrane SNARE Complexes is a highly conserved protein supercomplex that belongs to the class of molecular machinery governing intracellular membrane fusion, specifically defined by its composition of SNARE proteins anchored in apposed membranes and its essential role in catalyzing the fusion of secretory vesicles with the plasma membrane during regulated exocytosis.
