Match Rights

Match Rights is a contractual provision in merger negotiation agreements that grants a party the right to match a competing offer for an asset or equity stake, thereby preserving the target's ability to accept third-party bids while allowing the initial acquirer the opportunity to retain the deal under equivalent or superior terms.
