Mannose-6-phosphate Sorting

Mannose-6-Phosphate Sorting is a lysosomal trafficking mechanism that directs newly synthesized lysosomal hydrolases to lysosomes by recognizing mannose-6-phosphate residues on their N-glycans and mediating their receptor-dependent transport from the Golgi apparatus to endolysosomal compartments.
