Lubricant Additives
Lubricant Additives is a class of chemically engineered substances incorporated in minor concentrations into lubricating base fluids or greases to modify or impart specific physical, chemical, and tribological properties—such as viscosity control, oxidation and corrosion resistance, detergency and dispersancy, and friction and wear reduction—beyond those of the base lubricant alone.
