Liveness Analysis

Liveness Analysis is a static analysis method that determines, for each point in a program, whether a given variable will be used in any future execution path, thereby distinguishing it from other data-flow analyses by focusing on the eventual use of values to optimize code and detect dead code in the context of abstract interpretation and Petri net-based modeling.
