Lexical Aspect

Lexical Aspect is a linguistic concept within aspectual semantics that denotes the inherent temporal structure of a verb or predicate, distinguishing it from grammatical aspect by characterizing the internal temporal contour, such as whether the event is bounded, durative, or telic, as determined by the lexical meaning of the verb itself.
