Landmine Action

Landmine Action is an academic construct within the field of human security that refers to a systematic approach comprising policies, practices, and interventions designed to mitigate the threat posed by landmines and explosive remnants of war through clearance, risk education, victim assistance, and advocacy, thereby distinguishing it from broader disarmament or peacebuilding efforts by its targeted focus on explosive hazard reduction and civilian protection.
