Internal Alkyne Coordination

Internal Alkyne Coordination is a type of alkyne coordination chemistry in which an internal alkyne binds to a transition metal center through its carbon-carbon triple bond, distinguished from terminal alkyne coordination by the absence of acidic terminal hydrogen and the resulting differences in electronic and steric interactions with the metal.
