Interference With Protected Leave

Interference with Protected Leave is a legal and employment-related violation in which an employer obstructs, denies, or otherwise impedes an employee’s right to take leave guaranteed under statutory protected leave laws, thereby failing to uphold the employee’s entitlements as mandated by legislation such as the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) or analogous regulations.
