Immersive Performance is a mode of live performance practice in which the aesthetic, spatial, and sensory design is configured to envelop spectators within the performance environment, thereby minimizing or dissolving the conventional separation between audience and performers and often assigning spectators embodied, participatory, or interactive roles in the unfolding event.
