Idea Diffusion is a theoretical framework within policy diffusion studies that specifies the mechanisms by which novel policy-related concepts, models, or constructs spread across jurisdictions through social, political, or epistemic networks, distinguished by its focus on the transmission of intellectual or ideational elements rather than institutional imitation or coercive adoption.
