The Human-Animal Interface is a conceptual framework within One Health Epidemiology that denotes the dynamic interaction zone where humans and animals come into close contact, enabling bidirectional transmission of pathogens and influencing disease emergence, distinct from other epidemiological interfaces by its focus on direct and indirect contact-mediated health exchanges between human and animal populations.
