Hepatic Sinusoid Engineering

Hepatic Sinusoid Engineering is a tissue engineering strategy that specifically recapitulates the structural and functional microarchitecture of liver sinusoids by integrating sinusoidal endothelial cells, specialized extracellular matrix, and dynamic fluid flow to enable physiologically relevant liver cell interactions and mass transfer in engineered hepatic tissues.
