Hate Crime Impact

Hate Crime Impact is a construct in victimology that identifies the distinct psychological, social, and systemic harms inflicted on individuals and communities as a result of criminal acts motivated by bias against race, religion, sexual orientation, or other protected identities, thereby differentiating it from general crime impact through its broader societal ramifications and symbolic message of exclusion.
