Good Cause Exemption
Good Cause Exemption is a formal regulatory provision within administrative law that permits an agency to dispense with the customary notice-and-comment rulemaking process when it demonstrates that such procedures are impracticable, unnecessary, or contrary to the public interest, thereby constituting an exception to standard procedural requirements for promulgating regulations.
