Gating Pore Properties

Gating Pore Properties is a biophysical construct that characterizes the ion conduction and voltage-sensing capabilities of alternative ion permeation pathways formed by voltage-gated chloride channels during gating transitions, distinct from the central pore, by virtue of their location within the voltage-sensing domain and dependence on gating charge movement.
