Forwarding Operations

Forwarding Operations is a forest harvesting operation that consists of the ground-based collection, loading, and transport of pre-bunched or processed timber from the felling site to roadside landings by a forwarder traveling on designated trails, thereby distinguishing it from alternative extraction methods such as skidding or cable yarding.
