Formation Pressure Evaluation

Formation Pressure Evaluation is a subdiscipline of formation evaluation in petroleum engineering that quantifies and interprets in-situ pore, overburden, and fracture pressures in subsurface formations to characterize the geomechanical state of the reservoir, define safe drilling and completion windows, and assess hydrocarbon generation, migration, and containment.
