Forest Attribute Mapping
Forest Attribute Mapping is a forest inventory and geospatial analysis method that produces spatially explicit, wall‑to‑wall estimates of key forest stand attributes (e.g., volume, biomass, basal area, species composition) by modeling and interpolating field inventory data with auxiliary geospatial information such as remote sensing and GIS layers.
