Force-induced Allostery

Force-Induced Allostery is a biophysical phenomenon in which mechanical force applied to a biomolecule at a specific site induces conformational or functional changes at a distant, non-local site, thereby modulating its activity or binding properties through an allosteric mechanism directed by external mechanical perturbation.
