Folate Recycling is a metabolic process whereby tetrahydrofolate cofactors are regenerated through the enzymatic conversion of dihydrofolate to tetrahydrofolate, primarily catalyzed by dihydrofolate reductase, to maintain sustained one-carbon transfer reactions essential for nucleotide synthesis and methylation cycles.
