Flexible Spacecraft Coupling

Flexible Spacecraft Coupling is a dynamic interaction phenomenon in astrodynamics wherein the elastic deformations of a spacecraft's flexible structural components directly influence and are influenced by its orbital and attitude motion, thereby distinguishing it from rigid-body spacecraft coupling through the inclusion of structural flexibility effects in the coupled attitude-orbit dynamics.
