Flare Classification
Flare Classification is a systematic framework used in solar physics to categorize solar flares according to their peak X-ray flux measured in the 0.1–0.8 nm wavelength range, distinguishing it from other observational methods by its reliance on standardized magnitude-based classes (A, B, C, M, X) to represent increasing levels of energy output.
