Fixed-lag Smoothing

Fixed-Lag Smoothing is a state estimation technique that belongs to the class of Bayesian smoothing methods, distinguished by its use of a fixed time delay to retrospectively refine the state estimates using all available observations up to the current time step while maintaining computational efficiency through limited memory of past states.
