Fin Regeneration
Fin Regeneration is a developmental process within the broader field of regenerative biology in which a severed or damaged fish fin regrows through the coordinated proliferation and differentiation of progenitor cells originating from the wound epidermis and blastemal tissue, distinct from epimorphic regeneration in other appendages by its reliance on localized epithelial-mesenchymal interactions and tissue-specific signaling pathways.
