Field Cooling Effects

Field Cooling Effects is a phenomenon in magnetism wherein the exchange bias in ferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic bilayers is established by cooling the material through its Néel or Curie temperature in the presence of an external magnetic field, resulting in a unidirectional anisotropy that shifts the hysteresis loop along the field axis.
