Fed-batch Process Control

Fed-Batch Process Control is a bioprocess control strategy in which a cultivation process is characterized by the initial charge of a bioreactor followed by the controlled feeding of one or more limiting substrates over time, distinguishing it from batch processes by sustaining cell growth and product formation while avoiding overflow metabolism and substrate inhibition.
